Layer Styles

In this assignment I chose a picture of a puppy and copied and pasted it 12 times onto a blank paper. I then selected each picture separately and used the transform tool to change it. Using the scale tool allows you to increase and decrease the size of the original picture. You can also rotate the picture, add a skew, change the perspective, etc. The warp tool was my favorite because you can make the picture a funny shape. This tool allows you to change the way the picture looks.
In photoshop we learned about layer styles, layer styles are tools that allow definition by making the picture pop out. Drop shadow allows you to create a shadow behind the picture making it look 3-Dimensional. However, inner shadow sucks the image inward to add depth. Outer glow allows you to add color around the corners of your picture. You can also add a frame to your picture by using the stroke filter. This tool sowed me how even a small shadow around an image can add lots of dimension, which helps make it more appealing.
